Your safety — and the safety of those around you — is our highest priority at Jai Ganesh Tata Motors. Here are some important tips to help you drive safely every time you’re on the road.
Avoid High Speeds and Shortcuts
Higher speeds reduce your field of vision and make it harder to react to sudden hazards. Drive safely, keep a safe distance from other vehicles, and avoid shortcuts that might be congested or unsafe. Taking the longer route is sometimes the safest choice.
Always Wear Your Seat Belt
Seat belts save lives. Wearing a seat belt greatly reduces the risk and severity of injury in case of an accident. Make sure everyone in your car wears their seat belt whenever the vehicle is moving.
Never Drive Under the Influence
Alcohol and drugs severely impair your ability to drive safely and increase the risk of accidents. Never drive under the influence.
Avoid Mobile Phone Use
Do not use mobile phones while driving. It takes just a moment of distraction to cause an accident. Stay focused on the road.
Take Breaks to Avoid Fatigue
Fatigue affects your reflexes and judgement. If you’re feeling tired, take a break, stretch, and rest before continuing your journey. Remember: Rest. Revive. Survive.
Use the Advance Warning Triangle
Your vehicle comes with an advance warning triangle for emergencies. If your car breaks down and you have to stop on the roadside:
- Remove the warning triangle from its case and set it up.
- Place it on the road at least 50 meters behind your vehicle in the same lane.
- Increase the distance to 150 meters on highways, or where curves or hilltops block visibility.
This helps warn other drivers and keeps you safer while waiting for assistance.
